10 Signs You're 100% An Introvert

A few clues to help key you in to your personality type

As an introvert myself, I know some indicators that may help clue you in on your personality!

These signs may not apply to everyone, but they may serve as a basis to build on if you’re on the fence about which way you tend to lean in regards to extroversion vs. introversion.

1. You appreciate your "Me Time"

Relaxing by yourself is a must. You need some time to de-stress and recharge without having to deal with other people.

2. You're a home-stayer at heart

Parties sound fun, but a lazy day inside sounds even better!

3. You like to Netflix and chill — literally

Every once in a while, sitting on the sofa and clicking your way through a season’s worth of episodes sounds like the best way to spend an evening.

4. You have mixed feelings about extroverts

Being friends with an extrovert can be great because they’ll take most of the social interaction responsibilities off your shoulders, but sometimes they can be a bit too much and leave you feeling exhausted.

5. You aren't a big fan of crowds

Spending too long in a crowded area can be overstimulating and draining! Sometimes you need to get yourself to a quiet space and rest up for a bit before going back in.

6. You enjoy doing things alone

You find yourself content when doing solitary activities such as reading or writing.

7. You're creative

Because you don’t mind spending time alone, you’re more inclined towards creative outlets such as drawing or making music.

8. You get quiet or tired after too much activity

This is perfectly fine! As an introvert, you’re just trying to conserve energy after being overloaded with sensory info.

9. You're introspective and self-aware

You like taking the time to think things through and may be prone to running an inner monologue inside your head. Internal thoughts, feelings and moods are carefully accounted for and you are great at deciphering your current emotional state.

10. You have a small but tight-knit group of friends

You'd much rather have a small, close group of friends near and dear to your heart than be friendly with a huge group of people without truly knowing them beyond superficial conversations. Long-lasting relationships are much preferred and they tend to be significant.
